SHOP & PRODUCTS

4. Do you sell products in-store?


Yes — all products are available to purchase directly from our store at Kingsway Plaza.

5. Do you sell online?

Yes: We offer UK-wide delivery through our online shop.

6. What brands do you stock?


Mission, Target, Harrows, Cosmo, Red Dragon, Winmau, Target Japan, Unicorn, Bulls, and more.

7. Can I get help choosing the right darts?


Absolutely. We provide personalised advice on weights, grips, shafts, flights, and setups.

8. Can I try equipment before buying?


Yes — we provide an area for players to test selected darts and accessories.

COACHING

9. Do you offer coaching for adults?


Yes — 1-to-1 adult coaching can be booked depending on availability.

10. Do you offer coaching for children?


Yes — the Tendring Darts Academy provides structured coaching for young players of all skill levels.

11. Who delivers the coaching?


All coaching is delivered by Steven Chandler, a fully qualified PDPA Level 1 Coach with enhanced DBS clearance.

12. Do I need to bring my own darts to coaching sessions?


No — equipment is provided if needed, but players are welcome to bring their own.

TENDRING DARTS ACADEMY

13. What age groups can join the academy?


The academy is suitable for juniors and young players.

14. Where does the academy run?


Sessions are held at Harwich & Dovercourt Cricket Club.

15. How much does the academy cost?

£5 per session

£40 joining fee, which includes the official Academy shirt

16. What is the “Single to 180 Programme”?


It’s our structured coaching pathway that helps players progress through skill levels and earn certificates.

17. Do you have safeguarding measures?


Yes — all staff hold enhanced DBS checks, and we follow strict safeguarding policies and a formal Code of Conduct.

18. Do parents need to stay during sessions?


Parents are welcome to stay, but it is not required unless the child needs additional support.

EVENTS & COMMUNITY

19. Do you run leagues or competitions?


Yes — we host community events, practice nights, and competitions throughout the year.

20. Can my child compete through the academy?


Yes — academy players often progress into local leagues, competitions, and wider development pathways.

MEMBERSHIP & REGISTRATION

21. How do I register my child for the academy?


You can collect and complete an application form in-store or download one on the Academy page of the website.

22. What information is required at registration?


Player details, parent/guardian contact info, medical information, media consent, and a signed Code of Conduct agreement.

SAFETY & SAFEGUARDING

23. Are staff DBS checked?


Yes — the Head Coach and any assistants hold enhanced DBS clearance.

24. Do you have a Code of Conduct?


Yes — both players and parents must agree to our behaviour standards to ensure a positive environment.

25. What if my child has medical needs?


Medical details are included in the membership form so we can ensure their safety and proper support.

PAYMENTS & POLICIES

26. What payment methods do you accept?


Cash, card payments (if available), and bank transfer.

27. Do you offer refunds or exchanges?


Unused retail items in original packaging can typically be returned within 14 days.


Faulty items are covered under manufacturer warranties.

28. Do you offer gift vouchers?


Yes — available in-store.

MEDIA & MARKETING

29. Do you take photos during sessions?


Yes — occasionally.


Parents can choose to grant or deny media consent on the membership form.

30. Where are photos used?


Only on official Tendring Darts social media pages or the website — never for outside marketing.

OTHER

31. Do you sponsor players or teams?


Possibly — sponsorship requests are reviewed individually.
